Danielle In More Detail

Danielle is from Hood River, OR - nestled on the edge of Columbia River, east of Portland, north of Mount Hood. Although Portlanders tend to think the Gorge is a far away “wilderness”, Hood River is really only a short commute. Danielle currently lives in Great Falls, Montana near even more wilderness.

Her interest in writing and design were sparked in school with an amazing Survey of American Literature teacher who helped imbue her writing with "SOAL", and a fantastic former social worker who taught an extraordinary graphic design class. In 2017, she graduated with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Media & Visual Culture from the University of Redlands. While psych is a less typical path to work in advertising, she thinks the fresh perspective she brings creates a collaborative, consumer centric cocktail of knowledge that would grow in the creative environment of the advertising industry.

Danielle has been gaining experience by trying to be as creative as possible in her personal life, and developing skills through various jobs. Currently, she works for a marketing company that caters to the outdoor pro industry where she designs email campaigns for various brands, including Dakine, POC, and Filson. She also helped develop the social media and marketing content/materials for Hood River Parks & Rec, and created a website for the search and rescue organization Crag Rats. Previously, she worked for the Redlands Art Association as a marketing intern and designed displays for her local Aquatic Center.
